I recently went on a weekend beach trip to Florida to celebrate a friend’s upcoming wedding. We stayed in Seacrest which is located on Highway 30A between Destin/Sandestin and Panama City. All of the adorable communities along this highway are like little stretches of paradise. The water is crystal clear and breathtaking.
We arrived late Thursday afternoon. We walked along the beach to the Rosemary community, which is located right beside Seacrest, and is absolutely beautiful! Bike riding is a must in any of these communities. I loved the lawn filled with people and their families. Thursday was movie night. They set up a big screen and you can sit on the lawn and enjoy a feature film.
We were a bit hungry, so we walked over to Cowgirl Kitchen, which has a mixture of great foods to choose from.
We stayed in a lovely condo at High Pointe Resort.
We soaked up as much sun on the beach as we could!
Friday night, we ate at The Red Bar, which is located in Grayton Beach. I always enjoy going to The Red Bar. They have great food and I love the atmosphere.
Saturday night we ate at Stinky’s Fish Camp, which is located in Santa Rosa. I love their motto, “With a name like Stinky’s, it better be good.” Oh, and it is!
I tried to snap some more pictures as we were leaving Sunday. Most of these were in the car if you can’t tell 🙂
Who else vacations on 30A? Don’t you just love all the neat places?!
